Lightweight Dissolvable Ball Sealers
Perf Sealers has developed lightweight dissolvable ball sealers for operators to maximize their fluid diversion for completions. Using 0.9 specific gravity balls in vertical wells, most operators only need 10% to 20% excess to seal the perforations, verse 50% to 200% excess for the traditional 1.2 to 1.3 specific gravity balls.¹ By matching the ball sealers to the fluid density in horizontal wells, maximum efficiency can be achieved for all orientated perforations even if the pumps go down during the completion.² The lightweight ball sealers are available in specific gravity of 0.9, 1.0, and 1.1 and are rated for 3000 psi [20.7 MPa] differential pressure with excellent sealing properties.
